Lovely campsite not far from the beach/bar etc. Toilet blocks etc cleaned twice a day, good size pitch for large tent & car. Spent 3 nights there and would thoroughly recommend. 20 minute walk to the town the market square by the river and nice pintxos bars. The train station is just across the river, very new & clean local 'stopper' train, 45 minutes to San Sebastian & 2 hours to Bilbao. The staff at the campsite were excellent apart from one individual who was very abrupt & rude.

Excellent campsite in a lovely time with an excellent train link to San Sebastien. nice clean facilities , very helpful staff and worth the money. bonus was free wifi which we've discovered is gold.

we found this to be a great wee site. as usual with Spanish sites it was slightly too crowded but overall it was a good place to stay.

Well-positioned site within walking distance of beach, town and railway station. Easy train journey into San Sebastian.

Dos personas varios fines de semana, estancia agradable y buenas instalaciones. Personal de recepción muy amable. Parcelas correctas y bien sañalizadas. Baños muy limpios.

After a long ferry trip from Ireland, we eventually (we got lost a lot) got to Camping Orio and loved it. Late night and very friendly welcome. Easy check in and got parked close to extensive clean toilets/showers. Straight to the on site bar for some basic tasty food and a few well deserved drinks served by friendly local staff. The next day we realized we had found a place we would come back to. Because it was dark when we arrived we didn't see the beautiful inlet, the beach with three or four beach bar restaurants, the marina and a beautiful pier to walk down. Later Jane persuaded me that there was a village if we walked down the river. I protested as I hate walking but I went along for peace and we found ORIO. What a beautiful little "Harry Potter" place. A cobble stone square with tapas bars and so Basquish (if thats a word). Orio effortlessly combines a great buzz with peace if that make any sense to you.
Anyway, we highly recommend this excellent camp site. On our departure we were given very helpful directions to a supermarket. we also had issues with our sat nav and were directed to a phone shop to get that sorted by a friend and it was sorted. We traveled after Orio for 35 nights and I cant say we stayed anywhere better. We went out of our way to spent our last two nights there.
